At long last, I am excited to announce that A Massive Collection, Volume 2, is now available for an early access pre-order exclusively through the Nordecke! The book will be available for general purchase in mid-October, but you can get it a month early through the Nordecke.
The Nordecke has long used its voice not only to support the Columbus Crew on the field, but also the people of our community. We recently lost a dear friend in Crew supporter Randy Sims, and I am delighted that the Nordecke will be donating more than a quarter of the gross proceeds from this pre-sale to Hospice Care WV, the hospice team that took such great care of Randy after his terminal diagnosis and made it physically possible for him to attend so many Crew games to spend time with his Crew family throughout 2022. Although I could not complete this project before Randy’s passing, in part because I kept adding to his story as it unfolded, he was made aware of our intentions and was touched that the Black & Gold community would be willing to help others receive the same exceptional care that he did. Randy was able to read the book before he passed and he even selected the final cover, suggesting a merger of two of the proposed options created by Sam Fahmi. This book will always be special to me not only because I am passionate about sharing and preserving Crew history, but because Randy was part of the process.
As part of this Nordecke pre-order, all my other titles will also be available for ordering with the same Nordecke donation to Hospice Care WV. And if you order a copy of Kirk Urso: Forever Massive, 100% of the proceeds will be donated in Kirk’s memory.
Preorders can be made here: https://nordecke.com/shop/books-2/sirk-book/
You will have the option of selecting local pickup, such as the Nordecke quarterly event from 6-8 pm on September 12 at Seventh Son, where I will be on hand for a book signing, or you can request shipping.
This exclusive Nordecke pre-sale will be a chance to get the book early and to help Hospice Care WV in the memory of our dear friend Randy Sims.
